I wrote this book because I came to a crossroad in my life when I felt that what I had set out to do when I decided to become a doctor was no longer in agreement with the current medical practice and the health care institution. Modern health care in the United States is not winning against "disease." "Health care" is extremely expensive and seemingly hard to attain--but there is a reason.
