The New Work Exchange
Autor Scott Cawooden Limba Engleză Paperback – 26 iun 2023
How to make the workplace work for everyone
In the wake of a global pandemic and the "Great Resignation," workplaces have been turned upside down. Companies are grappling with how to maintain productivity, attract (and retain) top talent, and keep pace with technological advances. In the face of so much change, many leaders find themselves hesitant -- or resistant -- to walk away from the rules which have dominated the workplace for a century.
But what if those rules are no longer effective? What if we have entered a new Industrial Revolution where the successful workplace is being redefined?
In The New Work Exchange(TM), Scott Cawood presents a revolutionary philosophy for today's thriving workplace -- one where the primary stakeholders are people and where flexibility is king. In the paradigm shift from Work-Life Balance to Work-Life Integration, a new work currency has emerged -- one which builds better people, better companies, and a better world.
Whether you are a C-level executive, a Human Resources professional, or a human seeking fulfillment in your work, The New Work Exchange(TM) signals a time to embrace a radical re-alignment of how, when, and why we work -- as well as what we produce. It's time to make work better.

Notă biografică
SCOTT CAWOOD, EdD, CCP, GRP, CSCP, CBP, has spent his entire career working to answer the question, how can we make work -- and workplaces -- better? A self-described "work nerd," Cawood's passion for the workplace and how it functions (or not) inspired him to earn degrees in organizational communication, labor and industrial relations, education, and a doctorate degree in organization and work-based learning. Unsurprisingly, he's forged these disciplines into a singular passion for organizations dedicated to great work. Since 2015, he's been CEO of the nonprofit member-based association WorldatWork, dedicated to figuring out how to make work and the employee experience better for top organizations across the world.
A renowned speaker and presenter, this is his second book.
