Recenzii
The effectiveness of this handbook is not only Antognazza's approach in crafting the volume, but also due to the undeniable stand-alone value of each article. It is also a reflection of the nuanced, international, and flourishing contemporary scholarship of Leibniz as more and more of his writings are published and become available.
Multidisciplinary and exhaustive in its assessment of Leibniz's thought, the volume will appeal to readers across a variety of disciplines, particularly scholars working in early modern thought, history of philosophy, history and philosophy of science, and philosophy of technology. It will also be useful to those interested in early modern social-political theory, modern history, and religious studies.
An expertly conceived collection... After closely reading this handbook, I've concluded it is a must-have for libraries, and I recommend you get hold of a copy... Each of these articles contributes careful analysis and curiosity locally, and the effect overall is a perspective on both Leibniz's work and contemporary scholarship that we are not frequently afforded.
