The Pole

It's every golfer's dream and every person's desire: a mulligan-a second chance, a do-over. Every golfer longs for the opportunity to correct an errant shot without being penalized. When a golfer takes a mulligan, the first shot doesn't count. He gets a second swing to correct his mistake. In the game of life, we all want the same kind of do-over. We long to correct a poor choice, to rectify a miserable mistake, to eradicate a careless act. We want a mulligan of grace, a second chance based strictly on God's unmerited favor and his unconditional love.

"The Pole" is the instrument God used to save Jessica Faith Jones from herself and to save others from making the same tragic mistake of drinking and driving.
