The Politics of Military Occupation

Autor Peter M. R. Stirk
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 28 feb 2012 – vârsta de la 22 ani
Stirk argues that military occupation should be regarded as a political phenomenon - a distinct form of government at the heart of which is the nature of obligation on the part of both the occupier and the occupied. He aims to promote a change in the understanding of occupation, thereby avoiding the perpetuation of recent failures in this area.

Recenzii

Timely and insightful.... A useful addition to the relatively small collection of titles that offer focused historical analysis of an important, and increasingly relevant, aspect of military history.--Aaron Sullivan"H-War" (01/01/0001)
