During the late 1990s the president of the United States is looking for an excuse to renew the Gulf War, remove the Iraqi leadership, and destroy their weapons of mass destruction he is certain they have. He is afraid Iraq will use the WMDs against its neighbors. Rather than this, Iraq is engaged in a sinister program to bring terrorism to the United States that will find every American whether they live in the largest city or the most remote backwater. Some ordinary people are being singled out to participate in this deadly plan. Two such men are Ed Breckon, a skilled engineer, and Capt. Tom Rebic, the commander of a company of Abrams M1 tanks. Beckon is given the chance he has been looking for to develop cutting-edge robotics that, unknown to him, are needed to build the terror weapons. Unknown, that is, until he is kidnapped and taken to Iraq. Rebic sees the M1 tank from a perspective different than the rulebook shows. This marks him as undesirable because only team players are wanted. Unexpected events put him in southern Iraq where he is to be sacrificed to start a war. These two men, along with others, are drawn into an ever tightening vortex of international intrigue and gamesmanship. They will be called upon to go to the limits of their abilities not only to survive, but to end the terror program. Will they succeed? Was this the reason the coalition forces found no WMDs in Iraq when they invaded in 2003? Is this terror still poised to be unleashed at any moment?
