Teddy observes that Mr. Buster Lion is "down-in-the-dumps." In order to cheer him up, a really big party in his honor is planned. Since Mr. Billy Goat's barn is the only place big enough, a barn dance becomes the party of choice. Since a barn dance requires a band, Mr. Hootie Owl recruits several musicians from among the local residents. Mrs. Billy Goat teaches Teddy and several of his friends how to dance, and a grand time is had by all.
