Harris M. Berger is Canada Research Chair in Ethnomusicology, Director of the Research Centre for the Study of Music, Media, and Place, and Professor of Music and Folklore at Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Ruth M. Stone is the Laura Boulton Professor Emerita of Ethnomusicology in the Department of Folklore and Ethnomusicology at Indiana University.
