Disappointing. Deeply inspired by the Argentinian social and cultural struggles, the horror employed in this collection is often times (85%) a profoundly human one i.e psychological. However, the stories are short and superficial enough that the social criticism at the heart of it is not enough to save most of these stories from being boring and trite. A lot of the elements used are there just for shock value and the author has a predilection for making children suffer in graphic detail. Would not recommend.
Descriere
Dark and haunting stories of contemporary Argentina.
