Trade Liberalisation and Poverty: Vietnam now and beyond
Autor Minh Son Le, Tarlok Singh, Duc-Tho Nguyenen Limba Engleză Hardback – 28 aug 2015
The analysis in the book focuses on the microeconomic (household) level, and there is an emphasis on tracing the effects of trade liberalisation through the four separate channels identified by Winters. Such in-depth and micro-level analyses yield new insights that support important policy lessons and recommendations for Vietnam in particular and, more generally, for similar developing countries.

Descriere
This study uses Alan Winters’ framework of studying trade liberalization as a major potential contributor to economic growth and development to investigate the effects of trade liberalisation on economic growth and poverty in Vietnam. With a focus on the microeconomic (household) level, it aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of all four channels of the trade poverty nexus.
