Recenzii
Saussy marshals an enormous array of literary examples from East and West
This is an engaging, innovative and illuminating book, well worth the perusal by those interested in translation studies, comparative literature and culture, or even Daoist studies, as, if in negative terms, requires a highly interdisciplinary reading.
Saussy provides a thought-provoking new way to think about translation functions, both in the past and in today's world.
This original, informative, and erudite work is unequivocally a significant contribution to the expanding field of Translation Studies ... this landmark publication is truly inspiring and worthy of perusal by scholars of both Translation Studies and Daoist Studies.
