Stefan Köngeter is Professor for Social Pedagogy at the School of Education, University of Trier, Germany.
Wendy Smith is an anthropologist in the fields of Management, Religious and Asian Studies. She formerly lectured in Management and Japanese Studies at Monash University, Australia, and was the Director of the Centre for Malaysian Studies, Monash Asia Institute.

Descriere
Migrants, both spatially and mentally, no longer settle in only one national territory but interact or move across borders regularly, profoundly challenging the nation-state and the image of society as a container. This volume explores the ways in which migrants connect social worlds across national boundaries through a variety of soci
