Notă biografică
Alyssa Hall writes from the heart. Like the protagonist of Trusting Claire, Alyssa grew up in Ontario in a family of Russian immigrants. Claire's Grecian adventures, culinary appreciation, and small-town background all stem from Alyssa's real life. Most importantly, Claire and her creator both approach life with curiosity, tenacity, and grit. Alyssa wrote this, her debut novel for those who, like her, enjoy a good psychological murder mystery. At the same time, she wrote Trusting Claire with an attention to the more subtle aspects of everyday life: the experiences of immigrant families in Canada. She touches on the nuances of mother-daughter relationships and also the difficult work of interpreting what our hearts tell us. Alyssa now lives in Langley, British Columbia, with her husband, David. She is the proud mother of her daughter, Jennifer and her two stepdaughters, Natalie and Shelly.
