Notă biografică

Boris Zakharov is an associate professor of biology in the Natural Sciences Department at LaGuardia Community College (City University of New York), where he teaches courses in Human Anatomy and Physiology and Vertebrate Anatomy and Physiology. He holds a Ph.D. in entomology from the Novosibirsk Biological Institute. Dr. Zakharov's current research studies the dynamics of terrestrial invertebrates in the Black Rock Forest Reserve, the systematics, taxonomy, and biogeography of Australasian ground spiders, and the morphology of reproductive and sensory organs of ground spiders. He is the author of Nomosystematics: A Closer Look at the Theoretical Foundation of Biological Classification.
