Vocabulary Workout for the SAT/ACT is intended to help students build a vocabulary that will help them succeed on the SAT and/or ACT exam. The book is composed of 220 strategically organized lessons to help students both learn words and practice using them in written exercises. It is also replete with word root exercises, puzzles, and a glossary. Ideally this book should be used in tandem with reading other scholarly and intellectual materials to help nurture vocabulary growth. It is a complete edition that combines all four individual volumes (sold separately) in this series.
