LaMarr Pirkle has served God for the past fifty-eight years in the various capacities as of an evangelist, worked in Teen Challenge with David Wilkerson, served as a church planter, served as a pastor for fifty years, a radio Bible teacher, writer of "The Pointed Pen" -- a weekly newspaper publication, along with starting "Christian Telephone" a daily devotional which served the general public for several years and who is still active in the ministry of Jesus Christ.
LaMarr was born in Chattanooga, TN. He served four years in the U.S.A.F. and is a Vietnam War veteran. He has been active in the sports world, as well as in the ministry of gospel music. LaMarr and his wife, Anna, have been married for fifty-one years and have two children. He attended Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas, the University of TN at Chattanooga, and finished four years in Biblical Education B.A.at Lee College in Cleveland, TN. He also worked at Combustion Engineering in Chattanooga during the sixties. He is presently an active member in the Master's Division of the USA Track & Field.
America is receiving a "Wake-Up" call and needs to respond by giving attention to God's Word.
