In 1961 one of world's greatest living writers was being treated in a hospital linked to a renowned medical clinic located in midwest America. WHITE RUNS THE ALMOND TREE is a fiction based on that writer's fierce struggle to overcome severe physical and mental impairments. The three act play has roles for four actors and three actresses. Two simple sets are used.
