These writings enable insight into fields ranging from cultural studies and feminism, to postmodernism and new historicism. This volume was previously published as a special issue of the journal Prose Studies.

Cynthia Huff is a Professor of English at Illinois State University. She is the co-editor of Inscribing the Daily: Critical Essays on Women's Diaries (1996).
