The author uses picture stories that will be remembered and drawn upon in the time of need to aid in courageous living. Neal Carlson lives with his wife of 48 years in a small seacoast town of Cayucos in Central California. He has been in the ministry over 50 years, having been called to his first church at age 19. Dr. Neal has held pastorates in the New Orleans, La. area, Chicago, Ill., Detroit, Mich., San Diego, Calif. and 29 years at the Community Church in King City, California. He holds a B.A., M.Div. and Ph.D and is currently president of Foundation for Living.
