This book is a collection of problems for advanced students in the area of Strength of Materials. It draws the reader´s attention also to problems that are often overlooked and answers questions that are far beyond a training course and require more fundamental understanding. The research and educational Work of V.I. Feodosiev was carried out in the Bauman Moscow State technical University where he held the course on Strength of Materials for 50 years.
