Recenzii
From Dry January to Ocsober, Temporary Sobriety Initiatives (TSIs) have been a marked feature of the 21st century. This rich analysis shows how episodic sobriety, with a philanthropic aim, has become the contemporary successor to 19th- and early 20th-century temperance. With origins in historic Finnish practices and a Slovenian Lenten fast, this is a fast growing international movement which deserves this pioneering study.
