Black Torch brings nothing new to the genre, but keeps a consistent quality that makes it a really entertaining read. Several revelations occurred in this volume that had me surprised. We were also able to see why the war between the mononoke and the humans started. This volume was a little lacking compared to the first two, however, it is still a great volume to read. I am really excited to see how things are gonna wrap up in the last two volumes.
