Recenzii

’...the most comprehensive, thorough, and authoritative source of information about Chinese children and adolescents I have found in the English language...a fascinating and well-documented story of how the changing Chinese culture is reflected in the changing lives of Chinese youth.’ Professor Jane Ogden, East Texas Baptist University, USA 'This books is one of the most interesting I have read all year...For English-speaking scholars, there are few accessible books on Chinese children and youth available...This is an important book. Given the likely dominance of the People's Republic of China in the economic world, it is important to understand each other better. I recommend this book wholeheartedly to all academics and their students...' Ann Buchanan, University of Oxford, UK 'Such a brief synopsis of the various papers cannot do justice to the richness of the contributions on a wide variety of subjects to do with youth and children...the research findings summarized so well in this book make a valuable contribution in adding to and updating our knowledge...' The China Journal
