Recenzii

“This is a comprehensive guide for use in the field, lab, and class. The readers will applaud the author for the breadth of his vision, the depth of his understanding, and the clarity of his explanations. This reviewed book is an example of how complex Earth-related phenomena should be described in the best possible manner. It is recommended to the broad circle of geoscientists, and it is must read to specialists in karst.” (Dmitry a. ruban, Zentralblatt für Geologie und Paläontologie, iss. 5 - 6, 2016)

Selected by Choice magazine as an "Outstanding Academic Title" for 2016
“This book addresses all aspects of covered karst terrains, a subject area that is often overlooked or lightly touched upon in other karst textbooks. … This book is highly recommended for anyone studying general geomorphology and karst (in particular). This title covers a long-neglected subject in the scientific literature. Summing Up: Highly recommended. Upper-division undergraduates through professionals and practitioners.” (M. S. Field, Choice, Vol. 54 (2), October, 2016)
