Editat de Nigel Shaun Matthewsen Limba Engleză Hardback – 6 feb 2018
Dislocation of the TMJ constitutes a medical emergency since prompt treatment is required in order to prevent the harmful sequelae that may arise once spasm of the muscles of mastication has become established, preventing return of the condyle into the glenoid fossa. If the condition is left untreated, radical corrective surgery may be required to restore jaw function and eliminate pain. In presenting state of the art knowledge on TMJ dislocation, this book will be of value for all involved in the management of the condition.

Recenzii
“The book is an update of the problematic cases of dislocation of the temporomandibular joint, constituting a useful source of information for both the general dentist and the OMF surgeon.” (Stomatology EDU Journal, Vol. 6 (4), 2019)
“The book would be useful for general practitioners who manage patients with TMJ dislocations, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, and oral surgery residents. … This is a good quality book that is easy to navigate and well organized. At only 119 pages, it can be used as a chairside reference.” (Janet H. Southerland, Doody's Book Reviews, December 07, 2018)
