Recenzii
'A very timely book. With social/political convulsions taking place more frequently in Third World countries these last two decades, the number of refugees and asylum seekers is on the rise. This makes it incumbent upon educators and policy makers to give more attention to the needs of this special category of people. The more we understand what these needs are, across the different countries and cases, the more likely that our help and assistance will become meaningful. This book and the cases it reports are a significant contribution in this direction.' Munir Bashshur, Professor of Education, American University of Beirut, Lebanon
'In depth case studies of educational provision for refugees and asylum seekers underpin this insightful and timely analysis of these crucially important and challenging issues.' Michael Crossley, Professor of Comparative and International Education, University of Bristol, UK
