"…This second edition is a notable enhancement of the first edition. The overall production quality is high, the conceptual figures are intuitive and helpful, and there are many photographs from field sites that help the reader develop a practical appreciation for the topic discussed. The tables are generally easy to read and contain relevant information. …Overall, this new edition provides an excellent introduction for someone considering an environmental consulting profession or as a reference for early career professional, and in this regard, it continues to be a truly unique resource."
