Notă biografică
Zoilabet Duque Casanova has used her PhD in the Science and Engineering of Materials to study the relationship between living things and materials. Through various techniques as a researcher, a lecturer, and now, as a refugee starting a new life in Canada she has learned to focus beyond the senses. Zoilabet divides her time between Duncan where she is learning English, and Chemainus, Vancouver Island, Canada where she lives with her family and spends her free time reading, hiking, and sharing in good conversation.
