Industrial residues are obtained from all treatments of raw materials as during the process only part of the original material can be used for the primary application. The contributions not only show how overburdens, ore residues and slages might be reduced, but describe as well different characterization methods for analyzing the potential for secondary reusable materials due to their chemical, physical and mineralogical properties.
