Notă biografică
Daniel Tomozeiu is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Westminster, UK, specializing in communication and culture. In addition to his academic work, he is an intercultural coach and trainer.
Kaisa Koskinen is Professor of Translation Studies at the University of Tampere, Finland. A specialist on translation sociology, her research interests include translating in and for institutions, the ethics of translation, retranslation, user-centered translation, and the future of the translation profession.
Adele D’Arcangelo is Associate Professor at the University of Bologna, Italy. Her research is focused on translation training (especially translation and revision techniques) and on literary and theatre translation, with specific attention to sociological aspects and publishing policies.
Kaisa Koskinen is Professor of Translation Studies at the University of Tampere, Finland. Descriere
The book provides perspective on what intercultural competence for translators is and how it can be developed. It analyses both the main theoretical drivers in defining intercultural competence for translators, and provides real-life examples of how it can be developed. It was published as a special issue of The Interpreter and Translator Tra
