Notă biografică

Bruce Jones, is a master optician, retired ship builder, and now a fiction writer. This first novel, The Lost Reflection, was published January 2013. Based on a popular New Orleans legend, Jones's initial intention back in 2002 was simply; "to write the story down and get it out of my head." With much prodding from his daughters, "the long strange journey" began. The manuscript eventually landed with Köehlerbooks, and upon it's initial release became a best seller at Boutique du Vampyre in New Orleans. Based on the legend of the Old Ursuline Convent and the Casket Girls of New Orleans, the book gained traction with fans of "the undead" across the country as the novel's roots reached deeply into early American vampire lore. Învierea, the sequel, was released October 2014. Fans of the series now anxiously await the completion of the trilogy which is amongst one of Jones's current projects. Owner of Studio Optix, an independent optical boutique, Jones claims, "My business is a blessing, but it does get in the way of my passion for writing." So what's he working on now? "Well, I'm reading my way through The Game of Thrones series and A Confederacy of Dunces, trying to finish the first draft of Lord of the Bayou, a new romantic thriller, and beginning to write the third book in The Lost Reflection series... and of course there is that pesky day job thing as well."
