Peter Burckhardt, MD is a Professor of Medicine at the Clinique Bois-Cerf of the Hirslanden Hospital in Lausanne, Switzerland. In addition to his activities as a clinician and academic teacher, Professor Burckhardt has authored more than 300 scientific publications and has been a member of several editorial boards.Bess Dawson Hughes, MD is a Professor of Medicine and a Senior Scientist for the USDA Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University Boston, in Massachusetts, USA.Connie Weaver, PhD is a Distinguished Professor and Department Head at the Foods and Nutrition Department at Purdue University in Indiana, USA.
