This collection is the multifaceted result of an effort to learn from those who have been educated in an American law school and who then returned to their home countries to apply the lessons of that experience in nations experiencing social, economic, governmental, and legal transition. Ronald A. Brand is Professor of Law and the Director of the Center for International Legal Education at the University of Pittsburgh. He is the co-author of The 2005 Hague Convention on Choice of Court Agreements (Cambridge University Press, 2008) and Drafting Contracts Under the CISG (Oxford University Press, 2008). D. Wes Rist is Adjunct Professor of Law and Assistant Director of the Center for International Legal Education at the University of Pittsburgh.
