The Zombies of Tasmania

The year is 2044 and the world's population has reached an unsustainable nine billion, the environment has become even more erratic as a result of climate change, resource wars are breaking out all over the planet, and the US economy has collapsed plunging the whole world into an uncertain future. But suddenly, by some unknown hand, a horrifying disease leads to the mass murder of over ninety five percent of the world's population.

Twenty years later the children of the survivors on the small island known as Tasmania are now hunter-gatherers and free thinkers who no longer bend the knee to the old powers. But the ways of the old world will not let go as ruthless bandits, a religious con-artist, and a power hungry ex-state politician conspire together to try and regain the four elements of control - Politics, Religion, Soldiers and Money.

This story is not a 'shoot em up' zombie book for those who are considering reading it, nor is it pro-religion or career politicians. It is focused on the islanders attempts against all odds to build a new society where all people are treated equally. A society where the all-powerful no longer have control, a society without money.

This book can be read as a stand-alone novel or as part of a series.
