Ken Kaneki is an ordinary college student until a violent encounter turns him into the first half-human half-Ghoul hybrid. This volume is action packed and I can tell the art improved. The fight scenes still have me a bit confused, hard to figure out what is happening in most of the panels. However, volume 11 carries so much raw emotion and gives depth, that I'm going to let that issue slide.

Notă biografică

Sui Ishida was born in Fukuoka, Japan. He is the author of Tokyo Ghoul and several Tokyo Ghoul one-shots, including one that won him second place in the Weekly Young Jump 113th Grand Prix award in 2010. Tokyo Ghoul began serialization in Weekly Young Jump in 2011 and was adapted into an anime series in 2014.
