Tourism is one of the sectors that have undergone substantial change for several decades and in particular due to the restrictions and change in national and international policies since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. This book focuses on how tourism has been innovative, especially in light of these changes, by providing new and novel ways of introducing change into the marketplace. The book focuses on Spain and Portugal, thereby offering an interesting perspective as to how the Iberian Peninsula has adapted based on the new market conditions. Notă biografică

João Leitão is an associate professor with habilitation, the director of the UBIExecutive, Business school at the University of Beira Interior (UBI) (Portugal), and a research fellow at the NECE Research Center in Business Sciences at UBI, and associate researcher at the ICS, Instituto de Ciências Sociais, University of Lisbon. He has a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Beira Interior (UBI) and a habilitation in technological change and entrepreneurship from the University of Lisbon (Portugal). He is a prolific author and series editor of the Springer book series Studies in Entrepreneurship, Structural Change, and Industrial Dynamics. He is also a member of the editorial boards of several journals such as Sustainability ( MDPI), The International Review on Public and Nonprofit Marketing (Springer), Revista Portuguesa de Estudos Regionais (APDR), and Discover Sustainability (Springer).

Vanessa Ratten is an Associate Professor at La Trobe University (Australia), where she is also the Programme Coordinator of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation degrees at the business school. She has previously been on the business faculties of Deakin University (Australia), Duquesne University (USA), Queensland University of Technology, and the University of Queensland (Australia). She has guest-edited special issues of journals such as Team Performance Management (Emerald), Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing (Emerald), Journal of Management and Organization (Cambridge), Thunderbird International Business Review (Wiley), and International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal (Springer). Dr. Ratten has co-edited more than twenty books, published by Springer and other prominent publishers, on Entrepreneurship, including Sports Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Her current research focus is on technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Vitor Braga is an Associate Professor at the School of Technology and Management of Felgueiras, Polytechnic Institute of Porto (Portugal). He is the Director of the Business Sciences BSc, the Head of the business sciences department, and the Director of the MSc in International Management. His main research interests are in entrepreneurship processes such as co-operation, internationalization and innovation.
