Marcella McCarthy is principal of an all-through (3-19) Academy in Oxford; an experienced senior leader who has worked in schools ranging from special measures to outstanding, with a track record of success in school improvement. She has extensive experience in coaching and lecturing in the field of teaching and learning, and has written for a range of professional journals. She is a member of the NATE post-16 committee, on the Advisory Board for Cambridge University Press, and National Senior Lead Practitioner for the SSAT. Marcella is also the author of The Spider Strategy: Six Steps to Outstanding.
