Recenzii
This is a major yearbook that helps professionals keep up on the developments in educational technology each year. It is an important read and is often used as a textbook in survey courses of instructional technology..Bottom Line: This is an important source for district collections where library and technology professionals can access it. Highly recommended.
Published in cooperation with the Association for Educational Communications and Technology, the 2007 volume of the Yearbook focuses on the No Child Left Behind legislation and how this legislation impacts more student-centered, active pedagogies. Thirteen articles focus on trends and issues concerning the use of technology to enable or enhance education, school learning resources, and school library media centers particularly online learning. The text also includes a section of brief biographies of instructional technology leaders; an annotated listing of instructional teachnology-oriented organizations and associations in North America; a directory of graduate programs in instructional technology, educational media and communications, school library media, and closely related programs in the U.S.; and a list of print and non- print resources of interest to practitioners, researchers, students, and others concerned with educational technology and educational media.
