"Each chapter clearly demonstrates what teaching the targeted concept looks like in a workshop classroom, with examples for different grade levels which can be adapted as necessary. Clear and understandable, and eminently practical, the book clearly achieves the objective of showing how to teach grammar in the context of the workshop model." - Sarah Brew, Parents in Touch
"This is the book that literacy teachers everywhere have been waiting for! Literacy teachers, aware of the power of the workshop model and of the importance of teaching grammar in the context of writing instruction, often ask: "What is the best way to incorporate grammar into the writer’s workshop?"
