Recenzii
’... impressive two-volume set... At his best, Howard provides detailed and historically informed analyses of the pertinent issues, agents, and materials central to understanding the current Korean traditional music scene. When speaking from personal reflection his voice is sensitive and insightful, and the scope of this scholarly endeavour is not matched by any other such publication... As historical, intellectual, and aesthetic documents, these volumes are indispensable.’ Bulletin of the School of Oriental and African Studies ’... informative, insightful and comprehensive.’ Acta Koreana
