Notă biografică

Kamontip Evans is an independent consultant in stress management and a teacher of mindfulness meditation - see www.mindskills4life.com. She also writes a blog on mindfulness for The Huffington Post - at www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/author/kamontip-evans. When a university lecturer and radio producer in her mid-twenties, she experienced a life changing event. Suffering from severe cramps, breathing difficulties and physical exhaustion, she attended an austere retreat in mindfulness meditation in south Thailand. She emerged renewed, reinvigorated and indescribably happy. She has since meditated regularly and been to many more such retreats in Thailand, India and the U.K. Kamontip has a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, a Masters in Education from the University of Detroit, U.S.A. and a further Masters in the Psychobiology of Stress from Roehampton University, London, U.K. She was formerly head of the foreign languages department at Srinakarinwirot University, Songkhla, Thailand.
