Notă biografică

Mats Forsgren: M.Sc in Political Science, Fil.lic, Docent, Honorary doctor at Swedsih School of Economics. His current position is Professor emeritus of International Business at the Department of Business Studies, Uppsala University. Former positions: Professor in International Business at Copenhagen School of Economics 1994-1998. Visiting professor at Stockholm School of Economics 1999-2000. Professor in International Business, Uppsala University, 2000-2007. Research Fellow at Swedish School of Economics, Helsinki 1999- 2005. His research has been published in several international journals and books and spans the field of international business, foreign direct investment theory, and theories of internationalization.
Ulf Holm is Professor of International Business at the Department of Business Studies at Uppsala University. His research concerns the management of the multinational corporation, in particular the emergence of subsidiary centres of excellence, subsidiary innovation and influence, and transfer of knowledge. He also studies the internationalization of the firm and particularly the process of subsidiary internationalization. His research has been published in several international journals and he has coauthored books on centres of excellence, the embedded multinational and the role of headquarters in the contemporary multinational.
Jan Johanson is Professor emeritus of International Business at the Department of Business Studies, Uppsala University, Sweden. He has published several international peer reviewed journal articles and books. He is one of the founders of the so-called Uppsala School on the internationalization process of the firm.
