Saviour Pirotta is originally from Malta and now lives in Scarborough, Yorkshire. He is the author of nearly one hundred titles, ranging from non-fiction about pirates to short novels, as well as stories for Barbie magazine, Disney and educational material for the Teletubbies franchise. He is the author of The Orchard Book of First Greek Myths which has been published successfully around the world in countries as diverse as Italy, Greece, Brazil and Korea.

This book is perfect to accompany KS2 learning about Ancient Greece and would make an ideal class reader... A super way to enthuse children for the period, with plenty of excitement and action to keep them hooked - and they will learn so much historical detail to bring Ancient Greece to life as well.
The story is fun and exciting, with a touch of danger, making it a compelling read, and along the way there's a lot to be learned about Ancient Greece - possibly without the reader even realising it!... This is a series I can't wait to share with my grandson when he's older.
