Recenzii

This story really does describe a lot of what living in those times must have been like - the clothes, the food, how they trained for battle, how they fought, the fact most people were focused on just surviving, that even in times of peace people were constantly waiting for the next battle.
I like that these books include a glossary for those unusual words as well as a note about historical accuracy inThe First King of England. It's helpful for children to see how the author pieced together history to create the story.
